Makan & Mingle 02.05.2026

Dear Members, Friends & Associates,

MDA successfully hosted its vibrant potluck gathering, “Makan & Mingle,” on Saturday 2nd May, bringing together members of the Malaysian community and friends of Malaysia for an evening of food, culture, and connection.

Held in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the event celebrated the spirit of togetherness through Malaysia’s rich culinary diversity. Guests contributed a wide array of homemade dishes – from beloved classics such as nasi lemak and rendang to an assortment of kueh-mueh (various desserts) and modern fusion creations – offering attendees a taste of home while fostering cross-cultural appreciation.

Beyond the food, “Makan & Mingle” served as a platform for strengthening community bonds. Attendees engaged in lively conversations, kahoot quiz, bingo, and built new connections, reflecting the Association’s mission to promote cultural exchange and support among Malaysians living in Denmark. 

MDA looks forward to organizing more community-driven events during the year, continuing to bring people together through shared experiences and cultural celebration.
